Rachel Tooth and Shane Greeves
The exhibition brings together recent paintings and sculptures by the artists, exploring colours and abstract treatments in material and form.
Rachel is a London based Artist who is always looking for the abstract underlying the nature of nature; sometimes the abstract emerges, and sometimes nature takes over. The balance between realism and abstract is dynamic.
Her influences range from impressionism to abstract expressionism; particularly Willem de Kooning, Franz Klein, Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell, Peter Lanyon and Serge Poliakoff.
Shane Greeves is an Australian artist/designer working with biomorphic forms, and brand design. Based in London, his work explores naturally occurring patterns and shapes reminiscent of coastal shapes that he has an obsession for. His work also explores scale and materials that form organic abstracted connections.
