Ariel Helyes (b. 1992, Budapest) and Garrett Pruter (b. 1987, Los Angeles) are both based in London. Helyes works with video, painting, and digital imagery to explore mental states of attention and collective excitement through images. Pruter works with painting, photography, sound, and video to examine themes of materiality, impermanence and memory. The work questions human consciousness and what it expects from an image.
