Fiona Marron

Is a contemporary Irish painter based in her native home of Co. Kildare Ireland. She graduated from The National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 1984 upon studying fine art for five years.
Following her first solo show in The Lincoln Gallery Dublin, she moved to New York where she exhibited at the prestigious Kathryn Markel Gallery on W.57th Street. Her travels took her on to Portland, Oregon where she was heavily influenced by the vast and varied landscape. Time spent drawing and painting in situ helped her to develop her own visual language and unique relationship with paint. Her medium of choice are oils.
After her time stateside she returned to Ireland where she is happiest and most fulfilled exploring the ever changing Irish landscape.
Fiona’s work is on display in private and public collections including financial institutions in Dublin, London and Lichtenstein.
She and her husband, Flautist Brian Dunning have three grown up sons.
Fiona continues to exhibit in Ireland and the USA.
