The Castillo collective is a group of nine printmakers who specialise in the use of intaglio. This versatile method includes techniques such as drypoint, etching, and aquatint on metal plate, as well as the intaglio printing of collagraph plates. The varied and interesting results that are produced also reflect the very different creative approaches of the artists, who came together through attending workshops taught by Kath Castillo.
