Where Blue Warms

Sometimes things reveal themselves differently from how we first imagine them. A colour holds a warmth we hadn’t noticed, something that seems distant draws us closer, and an ordinary moment leaves a lasting impression.
Blue can suggest coolness and distance, yet it can also hold a surprising warmth. Depending on the light and the colours around it, it can feel intimate, comforting and alive. Where Blue Warms takes its name from this less familiar quality, and from the possibility of discovering something we hadn’t anticipated.
The exhibition invites us to pause and look again, remaining open to what might otherwise go unnoticed. Perhaps, in looking a little longer, we find not only something unexpected, but a quite feeling of warmth that lingers.
